Barney, who is James, thank goodness, as we were all very worried there about the absence of James, I know that NONE of my posts during the squabbles were read by anyone. It became quite clear they were each and every one ignored.

How sad. That's why on JF I like to spend time and go back. You never know what is buried there, and needs to be picked up and looked at very close.

Anyway, there is One, nay TWO, who judge ask God. Nay, THREE. And they are in complete agreement. If anyone feels unpleasant as they post, erase it. If they feel completely at ease. Post it. IF we are all in disagreement, however, something is wrong.

That's a fact, Jack. As you so well know.

:)

My askgod comment for the morning. I am sick of dealing with God-baiters, Jesus Christ haters, at this time, and as we know, I do it very poorly.

Barney or Jack,
I did not read your whole post because it was so disrespectful in the beginning. I am copy and pasting the essays now but the first time I had to type out each essay and I spent considerable time on them. Before I typed them out to post here I read them and was impressed with the wisdom they contained. I don't have a scanner so I could not scan them into my computer the first time. Since the spell check has been put on SI I have been able to refine them for typo's and spelling each time I've brought them forward on the thread. You are new on here, at least you just re-appeared under a knew name so you don't know that I've been posting those essays for several months because I like them and think they have value. You think you're some sort of detective and you're not. I guess you owe me an apology for your presumtion in imlying I was in some way dishonest when you didn't know what you were talking about. You may be the kind of person who keeps me from going to church. Quick to judge and slow to understand. cya, Bob

Hi Barney. When I first felt a tug at my heart to post scripture I went overboard thinking about all that would read what I had cut and pasted from the Bible and Spurgeon. I still think it is good to paste brief scripture when making a point about a subject that is being discussed. I even had one person send me an E-mail about a Spurgeon meditation, telling me that it had led him to a closer relationship with Jesus.
When others started posting 5 or 6 posts in a row I caught myself completely jumping over them to find the first personal post I could find. I discovered that people want to know what I feel and what my thought are on a matter rather than reading verse when most of us have a Bible that we can read and meditate on in our personal times with the Lord.
I have even gone so far as to give personal testimony, hoping that someone might be able to identify with how I came to know the Lord. So far, no one seems willing to give personal things for all to see but my thoughts are that if you have nothing to hide, then no one can hold you up for prosecution or derision.
God bless you,
James
PS: I came back to add to my post because it just struck me that there would be more Christian love and brotherhood on this thread if some of you were more willing to show a little humility by giving personal testimony. We are quick to tell others what to do(Myself included) but very, very slow to admit that personal trials and tribulation is what brought us to God.
James
