I have a series of questions and would welcome input to anyone who would care to respond. First, I have heard it said that one should not write checks against GNMA accounts (for example Vanguard). I have yet to hear an explanation of why. Second, I have heard Mr. Brinker say that if he could hold only one fund it would be the Vanguards' Total Stock Market. Has anyone heard if he has a second favorite ("if I could hold only two funds......"). Third, what is Mr. Brinker's latest minimum target and time frame for the Dow. Last I heard I believe he said 8400-8600 (by early summer?). Fourth, does anyone know of an easy method of finding the mutual funds that possess a particular stock. For example, suppose I wanted a list of mutual funds that own UTEK. Fifth, has anyone analyzed Mr. Brinker's three portfolios for comparison with the S&P 500? Just eyeballing some of the numbers it looks like slight underperformance for the sake of low volatility and diversification. A general comment: I am a huge fan of Mr. Brinker. I am sometimes huddled next to radio to hear each word of a faint transmission (my girlfriend thinks I need therapy). He is the metaphorical guiding light in sea of fog, confusion, doubt and noise. His calls on the Dow on 6400 in April and around 7500 in January were amazing. However, he is not god -- he is capable of making mistakes. Nobody should expect him to be able to call every bump up or down in a stock or index. Isn't it amazing how Mr. Brinker is still something of a secret? I have yet to hear Mr. Brinker mentioned -- even mentioned once on CNBC. We are indeed privaledged to hear him, sports broadcasts notwithstanding!
