Henry, slightly off topic - Hodgkinsons's Disease
Would you know if Ligand's compounds would be indicated for use on or off label for this cancer of the Lymph Node's. A very dear old friend of my wife (she's now 53) has been through the whole rad and chemo procedure twice now (due mainly to the fact her GP over 5 years of complaints failed to properly diagnose so early treatment could have been done). Although able to work and get arround she has been told her body will not stand further treatment and her future is bleak indeed. Knowing that I've held Ligand stock for quite a while now my wife asked for any suggestions that could be passed on to her oncologist here in Canada. If there is a drug of potential benefit in Phase II testing I'd certainly do everything possible to get exemption from Canadian Authorities to see if trial use could be obtained.
