Thought I'd contribute this 3/10 Fed Filings piece...

Here's an interesting--but dog long--article about how
e-commerce sites are pairing up with search engines to make
direct marketing work. (Hope my linking skills are up to
snuff.)

fedfil.com

I'll also re-note something that one little factoid that
keeps ricocheting in my brain. At the BARS conference, before
a "crowd" (I think) of seventeen folks, XCIT's representative
touted the fact that soon XCIT will be reaping $3 from revenue
sharing or transaction participation with e-commerce folks for
every $1 of traditional ad banner sales. This is an AWESOME
fact. And it introduces something very interesting into the
calculus of projected revenues from folks like XCIT, SEEK, LCOS
and others. Look for serious upside earnings surprises from some
of these larger revenue sharing deals.

Anyway that's my burnt offering for today. BTW, I've got
dibs on the redlight district...

Best Regards E-Commerce Fans,
