Dearest Grace, As I was praying in Church this morning the Pastor started reading a scripture and it was like the Lord standing there speaking to me it was so strong to me. I have posted it on Ask God but would like to post it here as well. It is in Galatians 5:13-15 13 You, my brothers (believers),were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge in the sinful nature(flesh) rather serve one another in love. 14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: Love your neighbor as yourself. 15 IF YOU KEEP ON BITING AND DEVOURING EACH OTHER, WATCH OUT OR YOU WILL BE DESTROYED BY EACH OTHER. I have seen the law in function as many Christians have not so I can see what I think Paul is referring to many times. There is a satisfaction that they did something right so God will accept them and when they fail a fear of destruction. This is not the true Law of God, it is and has always been instruction on how to love your neighbor and to (as Moses said in Exodus 33) know Him by knowing His ways. Study of the scriptures did not reach people with the truth of the Law so He came down and lived an example of it for us all to see and understand clearly what the Law should produce in each one of us. Receiving His is Spirit ( by believing in Yeshua) is the final close on giving us the wisdom to apply the law to each situation and give us a knowledge of God and access to His power to take the sin away from our lives. I will say until I die that His Law is beautiful and pleasing and a light unto my path as the light is Yeshua and He taught us all how to keep the Law by His life. Come to me for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Your post was right on to me and I appreciate it very much. May His peace the peace that passes all understanding fill you with joy, Nancy
