Hank Doug, there are technically about 200 companies that can do flip chip assembly- but that number is unrealistic since most are just small specialty shops. Volume assembly is limited to about 6 or 7 companies- SFLX,SIGA, AFLX, CCIR, 3M (internally mainly), IBM (out of its Ontario, Ca Plant is doing some third party assembly), and Hyundai has factories in China. INVX is joining this small group.

If Flip Chip Technologies is right about their growth estimates, then there should be plenty of business for everyone listed above.... Volume flip chip usage/assembly is dependent upon consumer demand for smaller, lighter electronics products....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
