"Interesting theory but they (Datek) say their fourth quarter trading volume grew by 15%." That might explain it, I left in Jan, because I could no longer get executions to even buy at the ask. I'm with MB Trading now, and truly can buy at the bid, or get SOES executions confirmed in less than 5 seconds. There appear to be people that can daytrade with Datek, but with a volatile stock I couldn't get fills. My average time of owning a stock is probably less than 5 min. so they just don't work for me, and a lot of the people in #daytraders chat. Rick
