If Cabot was trying to get NANX's products then I would have to say that NANX's original deal with Moyco was stupid. No, I have to believe that Cabot never tried to open the door until Moyco's lawsuit came about (after the NANX/Moyco deal had been finalized).

For a rather revenue starved former research concern like NANX to refuse to deal with THE ONLY significant player in the CMP slurry market would be suicidal almost. I have to believe that NANX management is not that dumb. I'm not so sure the exclusive marketing pact was all that great in the first place concidering Moyco's lack of position in the industry when the deal was signed.
