my favorite lines:

"If the disk is not pushed firmly downwards - as described in the user manual - the disk snaps in the drive but the motor does not start. The reject button in this case also does not work. The disk then has to be pulled out by means of the plastic strip, a procedure which according to the manual is used for emergency ejecting. "

"But on the second day already several damaged sectors were found which interfered with the H2bench measurements. Although we were able to repair the defects performing a low level formatting with the utility software, which took us some hours, our confidence in the drive was shaken. "

Gee, imagine how poorly a Jaz drive would have performed under those harsh conditions... (if we believe The Genius)

<<Considering these hard- and software defects we cannot recommend the SparQ drive for safeguarding data.>>

In all fairness, wasn't the same thing said about an IOM product in a recent review that someeone posted the link to?

I realize I'm comparing storage vs. multimedia device, nonetheless, the same recommendation was given to Buz.
