David, I think the answer is: Look what happens when a company announces it's laying off a 1,000 workers. It sounds horrible, but the stock of the company goes up, more than not.

I agree. Lets hurry up and get any bad news out in the open.

I still think the resignations and Lair are good for the company.

With Lair arrival into the company I bet he'll probably bring with him other people whom he can trust to get the job done. The people that are now gone probably just do not fit that neatly anymore as they go into the next phase of the company growing pains. I am sure they are doing quite well and quite possibly intended this sort of outcome anyways. Develope the company and sell out into retirement or on to another idea to develope. Who knows. There are many possibilites. At any rate when someone of Mr. Lair caliber comes onboard there will be changes. Look what Steve Jobs has done for Apple. Including getting financing from Microsoft. Changes are to be expected.
