Well, hey now....... if the goal is to market a 1gb drive that can't be recommended to store data on, I think IOM might be able to come up with one for a lot less than $199.

Not having a point sure doesn't stop you from trying to make one does it?

There is a $199.95 1 gig Jaz drive available in PC Connection mail order magazine. The drive is a refurbished item though.
