Don: I think we'd have to say that price has been anything but volatile lately, yet drifts downward recently from 18-ish to present. Fundamentals have been doing nothing but improving over past few months. Check back through the last 50 posts or so. No one from this thread has been very vocal elsewhere lately either. But recently someone from y2k thread asked what was the best value play these days. At the risk of inflaming old passions, I was tempted to speak up. This one deserves a close look. But like other tool vendors, it may be a while before the ship comes in.

There may be some more selling coming in next few weeks. If you're interested, keep watch and catch it if it dips below 12-13. CA World in April might give it a boost that will begin a steady rise throught right into next year.

DD:

My belief is that last year's inaccurate press still follows IAIC. When the credibility of IAIC returns, a lurch in price anticipating revenue may occur. If not price will lag revenue.

Either way, I have no concrete data from any source suggesting anything other than an eventual runup.

The short interest has dropped significantly, and so far as I know cannot account for recent drops. If any of the big boys are still short they must be out of their minds.

Your insight here would be appreciated.
