I have also gone out to the fed to get their data. So far playing the TED has been very profitable. I have an extremely simple minded formula - go long on anything below 64 and sell on anything above 76.
I ignore fundamentals and the usual TA stuff that I use for stocks. It's so simple minded that I am sure that everyone will laugh but it's it works.
