To Those Gentlemen Who Took Offense, Tyro stands by his statement that the Syquest open Q logo is overloaded. He's not long or short this stock. Perhaps Syquest do have a great new product. Since Tyro doesn't have a removable cartridge drive, he wouldn't know. But he does feel that Syquest is foolish to try to market a possible winner using a logo double-parked on the planetary Mars/Venus symbols and backed up with idle patter along the lines of 'Explore your genius' and 'The revolution begins with a single SparQ'. Give him a break. It's not a question of taste: it's a question of 'niveau'. May Syquest longs and SparQ users enjoy fulfilment in 1998. Tyro's blessing expires on 31 December. Tyro
