OT+ OT: Costa Rica.

Paul:

I was in Costa Rica not too long ago, very nice place indeed. It seems the 'Ricans' are a smart people in that they embraced democracy many moons ago when all the other Central and South American countries were the bastions of dictatorships and oppression. Eliminating the national army was one of the most daring and most innovative policies they have implemented, probably the only country in the world to do so at least as far as I know.

Intel has just put up a plant, of some considerable size,up there and will be the largest exporter in Costa Rica.

And isnt Costa Rica the one that privatized social security with excellent results?

And isnt Keynes the idiot who wanted govt to do everything and manipulate the economy? (bias words intended, of course!)
