Lets talk about TACO. The word on the street is that there is an interest in buying this one out for the value of the real estate holdings alone. These holdings are rumored to be worth at least $8/share even if they never sold another TACO. Now I ask you, why has TACO put out news releases about pumping millions into existing stores to renovate them and also about opening new stores? Is TACO trying to get PUFFY TACOS and puff up the stock price to a certain price for a possible buyout? From your past experience on previous buyouts is this a common occurance to window dress? anyone else?
