FWIW,

I think most corporate buyers base purchases on bulk purchase orders
that they have outstanding with one or several vendors. Purchasing
departments don't want a large proliferation of vendors. The purchases
are typically at a predetermined price structure and for a relatively
large number of machines with a fixed configuration. Thus, customer
service, warranty, and reputation determine a lot of the corporate sales since the price points are very similar for most hardware vendors building bulk lots.
