I like your take on it. Anyway, I have it on pretty good authority (this I learned prior to Arnold's post) that Teo was inquiring as to how to reach Arnold. I don't see anything Machiavellian here - just a nice gesture in a world that could use a few nice gestures. I'm anxious to see Arnold's follow-up.

What does interest me is the article. I tend to agree with Dave that it's just speculation. Still, if it causes a bounce I guess a good short term apprach is to take the profit and then wait for the inevitable return to mid 10s ... unless there's something to it...

It reminds me of a story about the broker who announced at a party an impending takeover of an obscure company by a major corporation. The story was pure fabrication and the broker knew it. All the guests began running for the door. The host asks the broker what's going on? Broker tells him what he's done and the host responds that that explains why everyone else is running from the room, but why was the broker running from the room as well? The broker replies "you never know - there may be something to it."

Funny game, this market. Sorry about the off-topic, but it's Sunday.
