Any idea's on alb.ir seems not badly priced even with the $4.00 due the end of this month. PGF.IR also has dived since issue and is not a bad oil play near bottom.

Cheers

Avista (AVS.IR -TO)
Avista REIT went public July 1997 at the first installment of $C 6, with the second installment of $C 4 due in July 1998. The dividends, distributed monthly, are projected to be about 60 cents in the first year (they are on target). The stock currently trades at $C 5.75.

The trust initially acquired 22 properties in Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia, comprising 81 buildings. Approx. 1/2 were Industrial, 1/3 Retail, and the balance Office Properties. I believe the properties were sold by The Canadian Life Assurance Company, and the REIT is managed by its subsidiary, Adason, a real estate management company.

Any thoughts on this company is much appreciated !!
