To all:

In latest Barron's was an article on the oil glut. I spoke with a guy today who pumps a few small wells on a farm east of here (we do have some oil here in Ohio) and he said that they are looking for oil to head further south (by as much as another $4 @barrel) Are there any ideas on domestic producers who get the bulk of their income from what they pump? Berry Petroleum is already down almost 33%. There have to be more that are ready to take a serious hit.

This thought has crossed my mind but the lower oil prices may result in sector rotation without the index going down much. I must admit it is kind of worrisome to see gas under a buck in FL. But who knows! the index may tank big time tomorrow! if you are substantially long and your longs are not overpriced (pe well above expected growth)then SPYs it may provide a good hedge.
