Petz, I don't think that is Paul's personality, although of course I could be wrong. Obviously 80% is nothing more than a rumor and should be treated as such.

Those of us who have been on the thread for a while will recall that Paul bought AMD in the mid- to low teens a while back, on a recommendation from his sources that the K6 would be a winner. Stock was at 48 within 6 months. Given his background, it would be surprising if Paul WEREN'T very well connected in the industry.

Kevin

Petz,

Welcome back again after taking the third vacation in half a year. May I ask how many weeks of vacation do you get a year?

From what I have gathered, Paul's 80% yield figure was just a mockery to the rumors of 70% started by the biggest hypers on this thread and this thread's twin.

Hope this clears it up your confusion after taking so many vacations.

John.

Re. 80 % yield
I believe that is a pipedream . The important thing now is how long does it take AMD to produce , package and test K6-3D ?
If they could obtain 50% yield on 1000 wafers per week , while also continuing to produce 2M (.35) K6-233s , then the next few quarters will give AMD a tremendous boost . Remember that 12 month target price?
Brian
PS the daily , weekly and monthly charts of AMD look good .
