From This Weekends Edition of Perspectives....................

Winspear (WSP)
We advised to wait for signs that the downtrend was truly done before
giving this stock any attention, some advice that proved to be valuable as
WSP spent the entire week going lower. We think it has more or less found
its short term bottom and should make a bounce higher from here. Could
perhaps have one or two more days of weakness.

Mountain Province (MPV)

Do not ignore MPV as it looks like a stock that wants to go higher. Will
find some resistance at $6.50 but that is still decent upside from current
levels. This stock has a history of creating interest at this time of year,
so keep an eye on the MPV.

Hello Peter: Yes there were very shallow holes drilled in 96 on Snap
Lake., that program started in April., very late in the year. The time
constraints and Winspears belief then was that the source was just
under overburden at Snap Lake. They drilled those holes only 5 meters into bedrock. As I stated last summer., it was my belief that
the program was an attempt at making a quick discovery late in the
drilling season at Snap Lake. 4 of the holes intersected a narrow dyke
on the S. E. corner of Snap Lake. A few holes were drilled W of the
186 last year., but the permissive area for a pipe venting from 186.,
was not fully explained. As I recall., some drilling directly in the lake
this season should cover the rest of the permissive area for a pipe.
If you will recall., that 186 anomaly intersected kimberlite at 107meters. This could very well be an offshoot to a pipe or part of
the sill or dyke system that Winspear has delineated to date. If the
2 areas the 1000m x 500m area is connected to 186 or and the 4 hole
dyke areas., it could be a very large system initself. I suspect and this
is purely speculation that Winspears program will involve drilling the
deepest holes on an approach to 186., will shallower holes proceeding back to the 1000m area. If there is a relationship between
both areas., it would make sense to drill deeper the closer to the
186 anamoly. That would increase the chances of proving whether
the sill area is connected to 186 as well prove whether the sources
are pipes.
Sincerely
George J. Tromp
