actually both wv and utah play a tough defense, but utah comes from a softer conference. probably the first team to break 70, if either does, will win.

WVU vs Utah may look a lot like Arkansas vs Utah. Hopefully the
outcome will be different!! :^) I expect helter-skelter both ways from WVU vs patience in the halfcourt from Utah. Utah looks to be a big team, with a point guard who can penetrate if given a chance. According to Sagarin WVU had the tougher schedule, but Utah has a higher RPI.

Here's another interesting stat - WVU this year out-of-conference is
13 - 0 Only losses came from Big East. 4 of those 7 to NCAA teams.
Also 3 Big East teams to go to Sweet Sixteen, WAC sends just Utah.

What the hell,..... WVU by 8! Oh, one other thing... Go Valpo!!!!!

Utah did not score a field goal in the last ~ 12 minutes,
BUT the defense held West Virginia to 62 points.
and the stats held up. (holding WV to less than 69 points.)
West Virginia had some very athletic players,
but did not shoot well.
Utah's third best player has been in a terrible slump.

I doubt Utah has much of a chance against Arizona.
but i know they will try hard,
and that Rick M. is a great coach. ag
