Vi: the only way I could see that happening is if we have 12-14% interest rates from a fed desperately trying to control hyperinflation. Lots of countries have their currency presses on round the clock, when a devaluation hits they just print more money. And that money is being converted into U.S. dollars and added to the flood of money. M2 in China is growing 20% this year. Great shades of 1981.
