Compromise or Consolidate Their are may people who wonder why I would continue a discourse with Michael Cummings and continue to berate him with pointless questions. Was I asking about the ultimate cause of leprosy, of course not. I was asking a simple question, answered several centuries ago, most of the rest of you know the answer, it is unfortunate that a seemingly rational man like Mike doesn't know, heheheh. Their are some astounding examples of the science required to convince the ideologically hidebound that infection had a treatable vector. Mortality rates were shocking but today every school child knows about micro-organisms. We can be rational about this, indeed, when our children get sick we expect the Doctor to be rational. There is no rational or logical basis for not treating leprosy like any other disease, people who wish to believe this are in direct contravention of the Letter of the Law. It is obvious that homosexuality can be subject to the same simple logic. There is NO rational or logical reason to think that homosexuality is wrong, none. To think otherwise is is about as fair as condemning those who have leprosy or sickle cell anemia. How many people think that Michael's questions were designed to elicit discussion on legislation which plows steadily forward despite his opposition. How many people think Michael's questions were designed to appeal to fears and that his rational manner is unsupported by any logical basis for his fear. How many people think Michael sees an apple cart. The simple facts are this : Any possibility not already ruled out by evidence, must be a possibility.
