Here is a reply I received from Sheryl Ann towards the end of January. From this you can get an idea about the status:

Dear Mark:

Engineers have begun the final place and route in preparation for generating the final tape out of the design. Once IBM receives the final tape out of the design, their engineers will reverify the data and begin fabrication of the chip. These are the final steps in the production process and are expected to unfold in 1st Qtr. The final timeline is closely guarded and will not be made public. Once sample chips are received back from IBM and testing verifies that the production process has been successfully completed, the Company will begin distribution to OEMs and make an announcement to shareholders.

Sincerely,

Sheryl Ann De Spain

The chip is almost complete. The companies ( adi ibm and cadence) are working together, side by side, in order to resolve a few bugs which they claim should not take long at all (1-4 weeks)
In regards to the I.V.T: they plan to merge it with the mpeg chip set ( the possibilities of this as an marketable item is endless and should definatley add a few dollars to the share value when all is said nd done)
There are 24 letters of intent signed with just about all the major OEMs. From what I understand these OEMs have already made provisions in their designs so that they may accept the ADI chips.
Just imagine , a short time from now we might be hearing this....................'ADI INSIDE'
It is only a matter of time now.
