Petz , I read that article earlier today
I can't put too much faith in what a 17 yr old writes .
He is correct of course on the seeming availability of K6s
When Compaq's january sales consist of 60% non Intel and IBM's 71% non Intel and we know that Cyrix has been dropped from Compaq's line then AMD must be selling K6s for nearly all of those PCs ,

From News.com, it is very clear that CPQ accumulated a lot of INTC's CPUs. CPQ tries to offer free 15-inch monitors to reduce the inventory (commercial desktop PCs and high-end severs ) at its distributors.
