Jim, since you asked for some advice on starting a newsletter, here it is. I think you're one of the very best pickers I've met on the net (or anywhere else for that matter). How bout starting your own web site and charging some extremely reasonable price, I don't know, $25 bucks a year. Go for quantity, not high prices. Assuming you could lure say 2-3,000 subscribers that's not bad for something with minimal costs (I think a decent web site should cost under $1,000 a year to maintain but I could be wrong). Sorry to hear about a possible career change, as a lot of other people who may have interesting viewpoints on the market just don't mesh with my approach, which is quite similar to your approach (I'm not a momentum type guy). I'm still considering trying to get my stock broker's license. I know some people do quite well in the business (with or without their clients doing as well). I think the next few weeks will be interesting. I need a quick move down to unwind some of those crazy calls I sold before they expire this Friday. I too am considering some puts or shorts, but haven't made the move yet. Speak to you soon.
