Denise, I think your comments are very fair... and make a lot of sense to me.... better than my predictions, which are the market will go thru a correction in the next 60 days... then a summer rally which will bring the Dow to new highs... and an even more severe correction to the 7000's in Q4.

I based my simple-minded projections on interest rate development... most likely, Fed will not increase rates until the Asia crisis is stabilized, which will likely happen towards the end of 98.

I have no other basis than interest rate, which I believe Fed wanted to increase if not due to the Asia flu. The next 60 day correction is a feeling I have that the market needs to take a pause, and will use the earnings downfall excuse to do that.

It is clear that DELL is running its own game and not many outsiders really know what business they are running.

If the market had wanted to correct, it would have had it last October.
