Doren,There is indeed a G3 shortfall. Is it CPUs?, or made boxes? There might indeed be a fall in prices if Apple overorders. If they keep it tight they will keep selling every box and the prices will stay near list, esp if they anticipate the summer slowdown precisely(hard to do, as they have shown in the past). they might just err on the tight side as that will guaranty profits and perhaps the buyers will wait and not Wintellize. That means a decision to sacrifice share gains (and the risk of surplus boxes) for sure profits and share decline.
