you make some good points...but I dont see the growth path...I read the latest filing and I am not a fan of Apple computers so I am dubious they acheived their profits by cost cutting and eliminating the competitors...what is the growth plan that justifies 30 PE....I doubt if reading this board will give me a clear idea of the growth path....sry apple fans but i dont rely on investment boards to make my investment decisions... yet i am surprise that no one can make an argument for the bulls...a challenge was issued...for every stock I own I can quickly state the reasons...unfortunately, all I get are people asking me to read the last 1000 messages...i think people have short memories of last nov and dec...maybe the longs should go back to those messages and refresh themselves of AAPL's competitive positions and why so many worthy candidates did not want to take on the task of being CEO valuations are important AAPL has had many stock price jumps then retreated... anyway good luck on your invesments....but i rather short AAPL than KO (coca cola)...they both trade at extreme valuations relative to growth rates...this was statement to show how extreme the valuation is for AAPL...maybe I wont short but I certainly wont buy my expected entry is after Tuesday and if AAPL hits 29-30...I will short if Jobs does not reveal any new informatioin...at 30 AAPL trades 30X two years forward earnings...I will take my chances cheers
