Hi there: As you know I am new to this thread and only came across it about a week ago.

I take it that you and Jackson don't exactly see eye-to-eye on IVAX and that is just fine since that is the kind of stuff which makes for an interesting market.

I have been a holder of IVAX for several years when my broker recommended it to me at 25. His thought then was that medical care today is looking for ways and means to lower costs and naturally low cost drugs would be one of the prime ingredients to this.

I had a relative who for years sold generic drugs, like the last 30 years or so. He thought they were the savior of high medical costs. Then about 5 years ago he threw in the towel. Seems that several of the companies he worked for started to get sloppy on their manufacturing process and lost their FDA approval. Then he had to contend with cut throat competition.

It seems to me that while IVAX has not lost favor with the FDA they are having a problem with price cutting which seems to be through out the generic industry.

As IVAX has gone down I have bought lower so now my average price is 14. There I hope to get out some day. In the meantime I have made a few bucks on buying call options. Not a great deal but a few.

Do you see 14 for IVAX in the future?
