The earliest I would have bought ORCL would have been at the open on 29 Jan. The buy signal with a corresponding uptrend was first signalled at the close on 28 Jan. There was one other earlier neutral trend that signalled that was good for a quck 5% or 10%, but I don't usually like to play with neutral trend stuff. Its trending up again, so buy anytime. After the 29 Jan buy signal, I would have sold it or written covered calls on 4 Feb. The period after that was marked by lower decreasing volatility which I would not have been trying to trade in. I would have been stopped out of any sell short from 9 Mar and now I'd be going long again.
