Cold. Very cold.

On another note. IBM is branching out:

IBM to buy chemical industry consulting firm

ARMONK, N.Y., March 16 (Reuters) - International Business Machines Corp said Monday it agreed to
acquire Chem Systems Group Inc, a privately-held management consulting firm focused on the chemical and
petroleum industries.

In a statement announcing the deal, IBM cited opportunities arising ''from the trend towards consolidation and
globalization in the chemical and petroleum industries'' as its motivation for the acquisition.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but a source familiar with the deal put the price at around $30
million.

Chem Systems, which employs about 160 people worldwide, will function as part of IBM's Global Services
Consulting Group. IBM will take on Chem Systems' employees and its offices in Tarrytown, N.Y., London,
Tokyo and Bangkok.
