I checked Dreyfus commission schedule from its homepage:
<Other transactions (equities only) handled through a live broker are charged at the rate of $25 per order up to 5,000 shares. Above 5,000 shares - add 1 cent per share. There is a $4 fee added to each transaction for insurance, handling & administration. >
Don't know if this applies to you. Dreyfus only accept BB stocks through live broker.
I trade with Etrade, $19.95 for one trade, unlimited shares. etrade.com
I am also curious how do you trade US stocks from China? As I know there is 13 hours time difference. Do you trade online? How is internet access fee? I am from China. Thanks.

To all contributers of this thread, I have been enjoying it very much.

I'm working the day shift now which really screws up my day trading. Hope to get put back on evenings.

Still holding my 50,000 shares CVIA though. Promised my wife that if it tanks then I will order my certs and paper her walls.
