>>Look for a stock buyback announcement.<<

With what? Iomega's cashflow is now reportedly negative, and they still have to fund a $100 Ad campaign.

I predict that price cuts will be announced soon, and the "magical" $99 price for Zip will be reality. However, this will take its toll on margins and profits. The elasticity of demand for this mature product does not favor Iomega's bottom line at this point. There are only so many Zip drives needed in this world, and the tech-heads, who are the main buyers, all already have one. Average people will not buy one even if the price is $25 (a KE paraphrase from last Q's CC).
