Novellus Systems Files $300 Million Mixed Shelf WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--Novellus Systems Inc. (NVLS) filed a shelf registration for $300 million of common and preferred shares, depositary shares, debt securities and warrants. In a filing Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said proceeds from the offering will be used for general purposes. No underwriters were listed in the filing. Based in San Jose, Calif., the company supplies chemical vapor deposition systems used in the fabrication of integrated circuits.
