Larry,
I very much agree that extrapolation is premature. I have stated that very smae thing. Comparing it to Maxam however is silly because maxam uses their own consultants to do COC. A major red flag if I ever saw one.......

Would it not be possible that Naxos drilled known hot spots for these tests?

Naxos did not choose where any of the 5 holes were drilled, Behre Dolbear did according to earlier information. Also if Naxos could tell where a 'known hot spot' a couple of hundred feet below the service would be on previously untested territory they wouldn't need to drill at all.
