David,>IMHO, you can count on Office98 being an even bigger resources hog than
Office97.<

Microsoft representative were present at our local Applejac User Group this past month.
They demonstrated Office98. After their demonstration I asked, "How much RAM will be
required to run Office98 effectively?"

Their response was 40 RAM. Just consider how much RAM will be needed if we would
have the applications of Office98, Netscape, and other applications or documents open.

IMO, with the lower price of computers containing the 16 or 32 RAM chip it appears to
me that the software and consumer usage will soon exceed the built in RAM. Therefore,
they will be required to upgrade their RAM, if they can, or buy a new computer. These
situations plus new electronic applications will force the expansion of more powerful
hardware--RESULT, more AMAT sales.

Just my opinion.
