A description of the ''Investing in the Americas'' conference being held in Miami, Florida at the Fontainebleau Hilton from March 16-19, 1998 that PFG is attending. The premier Conference for mining investment in Latin America and the Caribbean encourages dialogue between governments that "make the rules" and the businesses, private companies and financial and investment communities. Thousands of senior level mining executives from all parts of the world, governmental lawmakers and ministers, property owners, bankers, institutional investors and mining analysts attend the Conference. It's the place for dealmaking and promoting dialogue between power players in Latin American markets and facilitating financing for worthwhile projects in Latin America. Golf tournament follows. Sounds like a big one, If I were to make an announcement, I suspect this might be the place to do it, say around May 18 .... maybe about a hole in one ... ;-)
