Actually, that would be a BIG mistake (IMHO) for DELL to do that, then they would have all of the 'headache' problems that IM will have in trying to get all of the various components that CPQ, IBM, and HP have made 'deals' with! I think it would give DELL a real black eye when they couldn't perform as expected. Next the 'biggies' would say that DELL was intentionally 'slowing' their delivery schedule, and start a 'big lawsuit' and tie DELL up in the courts for years having to spend tons of money on lawyers, yada-yada-yada!
