Sterling Commerce (SE) is Merrill Lynch's Chief Technical Analysts favorite pick right now, coming out of a solid base and is his top pick.

>>Second, if you did, you will note that Moore himself never called AMZN a gorilla. Check out pages 22 and 26.

ok, Moore wouldn't call AMZN the gorilla but e*commerce is entering the tornado. Look at AMZN's year over year and sequential revenue growth.

My bet is that Microsoft and Cisco end up making the most money off of e*commerce. Security Dynamics is a huge e*commerce beneficiary. So are Cendant & Verisign.

Agreed Jay ....
AMZN definitely will not rule e*commerce ...
AMZN is a transactions based company and
like the book said,
"The trasaction services sector is not a stomping ground for the Gorilla."

Here are the big dogs so far:

Also, see this thread for AMZN:

Also, have you read the book?

I'm afraid what might happen to me. When I read "I'm ok, you're ok"
I was strongly affected and for several years I pasted yellow smiley faces on my car windows.
