Bearcatbob: regarding a 'picture' of the subsurface Missiissippian and Upper Devonian 'time structures' in the Turner Valley area, you will need a 'wired' friend who has/had access to many tens of kilometers of siesmic data (processed of course). The data you ask for is always proprietary as it can cost up to many hundreds of thousands to generate/buy the data. Of course once structures are identified, the land must be posted and aquired. Then a well must be drilled to test the structure (contrary to popular belief, it is drill bits that find oil and gas). You can be assurred that the amount paid at the upcoming land sales will reflect the drilling success to date (assuming price is no object) but not guarantee any future success (exploration is unfortunately an imperical process).I hope this has been of some help.
