Hi DJ

The paper only says that the meeting is an Annual General meeting on April 30,98, but does not say where it is to be held.

Pure Gold's meeting is to be a General Extraordinary meeting to be held on April 17,98, and also does not say where it is to be held.

I'm going to try to find out, and when I do I'll post.

Regards

John

K11 and K15 were announced on Feb 26th, 1998 and were logically intersected a few days before the announcement. We are moving into the third week since the announcement, it is predictable that Ashton should have a NR to confirm if the pipes are diamondifirous or not. As well, the initial micro/macro counts on the two first 1998 pipes should also be ready this week. We are only talking about initial samples.

Ashton may take that opportunity to announce the status of the remaining anomolies. They should have completed the 15 high priority anomolies by now. Expect news sometimes before next Monday! I can't see why they would hold on to "material news" re intersection of new pipes. Are they trying to fool us that no other pipes have been found since the last News Release? Some diamond exploration companies may argue that intersecting new kimberlites is not material information.

Going by Ashton's track record, it would not surprise me if they have intersected at least 6 more pipes. I am interested to find out the size of the pipes. Being initially identified as high priority anomolies, I expect the current drilling program to interesect diamondifirous pipes and higher initial micro/macro counts than the first 14 kimberlites found last year. If true, I hope the stock continues to be oversold so we can all feast and accumulate at these safe entry levels.
