Avant has really good technical analysis right now. I think it has a lot of upside potential, so I closed my short and went long and will stay that way until the TA turns against them.

AVNT is in the midst of a new propoganda campaign to help boost the stock price.

Many short sellers have come to the conclusion that the street is cognizant of civil liabilities and has built a lot of that risk into the price. Asensio issued a report on the stock after it dipped below 15 pointing this out.

It seems that this stock will only be completely broken if a final judgement is made which exceeds current assets and/or criminal convictions for the execs.

This is now a dangerous short and could become a momentum stock. I would suggest hedging if you are already short or covering and waiting for a better opportunity.

I already covered and will continue watching. I will reshort if Aquarius and/or Apollo ar enjoined and the stock is near 20. Remember, there are now 34 million shares outstanding.

>>>i sold avnt short at the high 19 can anyone explain why it hit on the high?<<<

All orders are now being represented to the market as required by the new Nasdaq rules. The days when you could only buy at the ask and sell at the bid unless the mm decided to fill you are over. Of course you won't get a fill in a fast moving stock, but in a slow or no mover there's no reason to do anything but offer it at the ask or to try to buy at the bid.
