Been a while since I posted here. Been off doing the fibre channel thing with ANCR and got hammered. Anyway, CMNT is starting to get my attention again.

1) Talked to company rep at internet world. Apertus acquisition VERY significant. He told me that they did $2 million business at the show alone. He said web front ends to mainframes is booming. I think he said that this is going to be a billion dollar market in couple of years. Some competition, attachmate for example, however, he said CMNT has more full-featured 3-tiered product. Read some of the liturature - one tier includes JAVA terminal for mainframe access.

My opinion - guys and gals - this is going to be BIG. Companies are moving to mainframes for e-commerce because security, scalability, data already there!, etc. need friendly front end to this big iron. CMNT provides it.

2) Nice rev growth. PSR less than 1.

3) Fibre channel deals with IBM. FC is going to be the storage access medium of choice, even for mainframes, and IBM is selling $5 billion of mainframes a year. CMNT also has ATM tech which is critical for WAN access to Storage Area Networks.

CMNT has some nice relationships that are going to translate into big bucks. Get on before the train moves out.
