The analysts can often tell you what's going on with a company's fundamentals, because they hear it before you do, or they can tell you about a stock's technical patterns, but the predictive ability of most analysts (for future price action) is about the same as a dartboard, or your favorite pet dog/cat/hampster/whatever.
