geoff,
I think what you said is true, however when more people are interested in selling than buying, the price goes down to attract additional buyers as it did today.

I have noticed that the option open interest is updated after the market closes for the day and does not change during the day. OI for LOOAD = 1723, I will be interested to see if the OI takes a big jump tomorrow.

The options are bought and sold by the CBOE partners, bankers, et.al., according to my broker. Only later is the paring done between public buyers and sellers. The prices are set mostly by the stock price and the pricing models that determine the time value and not by public demand. On the average, option dealing is very lucrative from the 'house' point of view, from what I understand. LOR is a rare special case. LOR has been great since up until a few weeks ago, WE understood the potential for LOR price appreciation. The lack of earnings, Orion deal, launch delays, kept LOR price down and option time values low. The pricing model obviously did not have Readware's analysis nor does it take into account launch events. ;)
