Gateway sales people characterize its DVD decode solution (non Cube) as "hardware". I hope they will switch too! People have hinted at it.

Toshiba announced new desktops today...

They are designed to allow for fast motherboard replacements.
There's a slimline model that meets the NetPC standards called the Equium 7000S, and another model called the 7000D. Both systems use Intels Pentium II processors.
Prices start at $1,229.
