OT I was a CFO not a cook! That said I use the microwave. Wrap it in plastic wrap and zap for a couple of minutes. It is effectively steaming it. The problem with artichokes is that there is so much that you can eat, that it really is only a social food. A small bit, some conversation, another small bit.... Castroville is the Artichoke capital of the world. How did you know I used to work in that town? Dennis P.S. the Dow is up 100 and we're down. All is right in the world!!!
